Kembali ke stock hboot dan membuang Eng hboot

Sebelum melakukan ini, harap lakukan backup dengan nandroid untuk restore jika terjadi stuck di logo HTC setelah melakukan prosedur ini.

1. Download this zip and extract stock hboot file (1.34.405.5 stock hboot for desire z) and copy to your fastboot/adb folder ....

2. Verify its md5sum of the hboot*.nb0 (md5sum is of the hboot file not zip file) file with this

md5sum = 613ddd077d65d51259795c02ccc2023d

3. Then, from your computer go to command prompt and than go into your fastboot/adb folder

adb push hboot_7230_Vision_HEP_0.85.0005_101011.nb0 /data/local

4. After the file is pushed to the phone verify its md5sum on phone (being extra careful here) using this command:

first write in command prompt

adbshell

and let adb deamon start...... you should see a $ or # depending on whether
you have super user permissions or not....now write


md5sum /data/local/hboot_7230_Vision_HEP_0.85.0005_101011.nb0

and it should show up something like this

md5sum /data/local/hboot_7230_Vision_HEP_0.85.0005_101011.nb0
613ddd077d65d51259795c02ccc2023d /data/local/hboot_7230_Vision_HEP_0.85.0005_101011.nb0


5. This next step is CRUCIAL. You must make sure that you are writing to the proper partition here or you could brick your phone. To be absolutely clear- the partition is mmcblk(zero)p(one)(eight) I'd recommend using an adb shell from your computer (with root privileges: just unlock your phone, run 'su' in adb shell, a window will pop up in your phone asking you to allow it to run, check for it to remember, then allow, the prompt in adb shell will change to '#') for the following command, as it will permit you to copy/paste it: ( if your already seeing # than you already have superuser permissions in adbshell)


dd if=/data/local/hboot_7230_Vision_HEP_0.85.0005_101011.nb0 of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p18


That should do it. You can verify that you have the Stock HBOOT by restarting the phone into the bootloader it should say

something like "VISION PVT S-OFF" and the "ENG" would be gone.


RETURNING TO STOCK HBOOT PART 2


If you dont have the factory unlocked desire z and your phone didnt come with 1.34.405.5 rom out of the box dont use the HBOOT file i posted.

But you can use this method for returning to stock hboot.

STEPS:

1. For that you download the RUU file specific for your phone from the sticky stock roms section.....

2. open the RUU*.exe file and while its open find the temp folder and locate the folder rom.zip.....

cant find the rom.zip????? use this Guide... it helped me find my rom.zip on my windows 7

3. open it with any zip explorer (for some reason my windows 7 was not opening this rom.zip file saying it is invalid i used winrar instead)

4. extract all files to some folder and go there to find the file named something like this.....

hboot_7230_Vision_HEP_0.85.0005_101011.nb0 (your file might have different numbers in the end but its name will start with hboot)

5. generate its MD5sum (there are many md5sum generators online use any you want)

6. than use my guide posted above and use your extracted hboot*.nb0 file and using the name of your file rather than what i posted in commands above.....

Download stock h-boot disini

Kemudian langkah berikut ini untuk G2, jika dilakukan pada DZ maka akan brick!!

1. For G2 Eng-Hboot download this vision.hboot-0.76.2000.zip


2. Now simply extract the hboot-eng.img file from the zip and compare its Md5sum of the hboot-eng.img file with this md5sum 7669AE12DC2FAA10AE555A164980EFD0 and copy to your fastboot/adb folder ....

3. Then, from your computer go to command prompt and than go into your fastboot/adb folder

adb push hboot-eng.img /data/local

4. After the file is pushed to the phone using this command:

first write in command prompt

adbshell

and let adb deamon start...... you should see a $ or # depending on whether
you have super user permissions or not....now write


md5sum /data/local/hboot-eng.img

and it should show up something like this

md5sum /data/local/hboot-eng.img
7669ae12dc2faa10ae555a164980efd0 /data/local/hboot-eng.img

compare the Md5sums here from your phone .....

That should do it. You can verify that you have the Eng-HBOOT by restarting the phone into the bootloader it should say IN Second line "HBOOT-0.76.2000"

and your done

Jika stuck di logo htc setelah restart,ini berarti semua partisi telah di-wipe. Masuk ke recovery (abaikan segala macam error seperti "cannnot mount cache"). Lakukan full wipe lalu wipe cache dan akhirnya wipe dalvick cache dari menu advanced.  Setelah itu restore saja backupan dari nandroid backup (jika sudah backup).

Downgrade DZ ke Froyo 1,34 untuk Root dan S-Off

Melakukan hal ini akan menghapus data2 yg ada di phone, silahkan backup data sebelumnya!! Syaratnya harus memiliki ADB yg dapat didownload dari developer.android.com

Cek InfoCID dengan cara

adb reboot bootloader
fastboot oem boot

Jika InfoCID tidak terdaftar seperti list dibawah ini, maka harus membuat goldcard

  1. Get theses 3 files:

    Since this uses some security holes to gain root privileges on your phone some antivirus programs on your pc might warn you that this contains a virus. Thats not the case!

  2. Extract misc_version_01.zip (only misc_version is needed)
  3. Get the PC10IMG.zip from here or download the full RUU from here.
    If you already downloaded the 1.34 RUU somewhere else you can skip this step.
  4. Code:
    adb push psneuter /data/local/tmp
adb push misc_version /data/local/tmp

  5. Check if you have the '#' sign instead of the '$'
    If you see the '#' sign you got root!
  6. Code:
    /data/local/tmp/misc_version -s 1.33.405.5
exit
  7. If you have downloaded the 1.34.405.5_PC10IMG.zip copy it to you SD-Card and rename it to PC10IMG.zip.

    If you downloaded the full RUU or had it already execute the exe file (mine is called RUU_Vision_HTC_WWE_1.34.405.5_Radio_12.28b.60.140e _26.03.02.26_M_release_155556_signed.exe), start explorer and type %temp% in the adress bar.
    Look in all the folders starting with a { sign and also in the sub directories if it also starts with a { sign, in one of the subdirectories there should be a rom.zip file with 298.442.206 bytes and the MD5 sum 2ff42897cd27e0db425a2cf36c8bd078.
    Copy this rom.zip to your SD-Card on the phone and rename it to PC10IMG.zip
  8. Code:
    adb reboot bootloader
    (or turn your phone of and on again while holding the trackbad).
  9. Wait till the phone is in bootloader mode (white screen should look like this but with other infos http://www.brutzelstube.de/wp-conten...0/09/hboot.jpg)
  10. Select bootloader (vol +/- buttons for navigation and power button for select).
  11. Wait for the phone to scan the sdcard, once it's done it will ask you if you want to start the update. Confirm it and wait till it's done. Reboot with powerbutton when asked.
  12. After the reboot check for version informations, it should show this:

  13. Enable USB-Debugging on your phone
  14. Extract root.zip
  15. Code:
    adb install AndroidTerm.apk
adb push busybox /data/local/tmp/
adb push gfree /data/local/tmp/
adb push rage /data/local/tmp
adb push root /data/local/tmp/
adb shell chmod 0755 /data/local/tmp/*
adb push su /sdcard/
adb push Superuser.apk /sdcard/
  16. Start the Terminal app on your phone and type:
    Code:
    /data/local/tmp/rage
  17. Wait until you see the message "Forked #### childs.", reset Terminal (menu > Reset Term). The Terminal app will close, launch it again. It will force close, launch it again.
    You should see the magic '#' sign again.
  18. Next type in the terminal
    Code:
    /data/local/tmp/gfree -f
    , this will turn Security off (S-OFF), remove SIM Lock and set CID to 11111111.
  19. Last step in terminal app on your phone is to execute these commands.
    Code:
    /data/local/tmp/root
sync
    This will root your phone. It's possible that you get an error message "mkdir: /system/xbin already exists", don't worry everything should be ok.
    After that restart your phone.
  20. Now get ROM Manager and install the recovery image from there. If you are happy with the 1.34 software everything is done here, if not you can flash anything you want now.

Cara Buat Gold Card

mo share bikin goldcard buat hape biar bisa diinstall RUU dari mana aja (klo yang beredar di indo cuma bisa diinstall RUU ASIA WWE)
satu yang perlu di perhatiin, goldcard itu bukan app ato software ato script, melainkan SD card yang dipake buat hape kita.

Catatan:
use this at your own risk, segala kerusakan bukan tanggung jawab siapapun.anda sendiri yang bertanggung jawab atas apa yang anda lakukan.

berikut tutornya:

1. Format sisa SD card menjadi FAT 32. ada ext 2/3/4 ato ga ada juga ga masalah, asal ada yang FAT 32
2. Download app Goldcard Helper dari market
3. Jalanin app buat dapet kode dari SD card yang ada di hape (desi). Copy kode tersebut
4. masuk kesini trus masukin kode tadi buat dapet image goldcard. file image goldcard ini bakal di email, jadi isinya yang bener ya
5. Simpen tu file image di kompi kita
6. Buka di kompi kita aplikasi HxD Hex Editor, klo ga punya bisa di donlot disini(user vista ma 7 mesti pake administrator akses)
7. Di menu bar extra pilih open disk, di physical disk (Penting, jangan pilih logical disk), pilih removable disk (SD card kita), ilangin centang open as read only trus ok.
8. buka menu bar extra lagi, sekarang pilih open disk image. buka image goldcard yang dikirim lewat email tadi
9. Pencet ok klo keluar pilihan sector size (pilih 512 (Hard disks/Floppy disks)) trus klik ok.
10. sekarang kita punya 2 tab, yang satu tab SD card, yang satu lagi tab image goldcard
11. pilih tab goldcard image, block semua trus copy (bisa juga lewat menu bar edit, pilih select all trus pilih menu bar edt lagi, trus pilih yang copy)
12. sekarang pilih tab goldcard image. block offset (line) 00000000 sampai ke offset (line) 00000170 (baris 00000170-nya juga ikut di block yah), trus paste yang tadi dah dicopy dari file image goldcard.
13. sekarang pilih menu bar File trus save.
nah sd card kita sekarang dah jadi goldcard deh.

Inject Clockworkmod Recovery lewat PC10IMG.zip (tanpa hardreset)

Syarat: S-OFF

Cara I:
Bagi yg belum diroot DZ-nya dan ingin pasang ROM, coba deh ikutin petunjuk ini
1. Download http://dl.dropbox.com/u/19932791/PC10IMG_reco.zip rename jadi PC10IMG.zip (hanya untuk DZ)
2. Taro di /sdcard/ (root of sdcard)
3. Masuk ke bootloader mode dengan cara
- lewat cmd (adb atau android sdk sudah terinstall): adb reboot bootloader. atau
- matikan HH, lebih cepat cabut batere, pasang kembali. NYalakan sambil tekan tombol volume down
4. Geser tombol volume keatas/kebawah, nanti akan baca PC10IMG.zip
5. Dialog update yg muncul adalah hanya "Recovery" saja, teken volume up untuk update, volume down untuk cancel. Pilih volume up. Note:tidak akan reset atau tidak menghapus existing data
6. Reboot

Cara II:
1. Download android-indo.txt dari sini: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/19932791/android-info.txt
2. Download image clockworkmod recovery dari sini: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/19932791/recovery-clockwork-3.0.2.4-vision.img (selaen DZ, ambil di http://www.koushikdutta.com/2010/02/clockwork-recovery-image.html, wildfire -> http://download737.mediafire.com/1kx7w116yvfg/l424p3qcbubrwrt/recovery-clockwork-2.5.0.1-buzz.img) lalu rename menjadi recovery.img
3. Kedua file tersebut di zip, jangan foldernya yg di-zip. Kasih nama PC10IMG.zip (utk HTC model laen bisa saja bukan PC10iMG.zip)
4. Taro di /sdcard/ (root of sdcard)
5. Masuk ke bootloader mode dengan cara
- lewat cmd (adb atau android sdk sudah terinstall): adb reboot bootloader. atau
- matikan HH, lebih cepat cabut batere, pasang kembali. NYalakan sambil tekan tombol volume down
6. Geser tombol volume keatas/kebawah, nanti akan baca PC10IMG.zip
7. Dialog update yg muncul adalah hanya "Recovery" saja, teken volume up untuk update, volume down untuk cancel. Pilih volume up. Note:tidak akan reset atau tidak menghapus existing data
8. Reboot

Test Recovery:
- Dari mode hp menyala, jika sudah ada ADB atau android sdk, ketik "adb reboot recovery" dari command prompt. Atau
- File PC10IMG.zip (utk HTC model laen bisa saja bukan PC10iMG.zip) yg ada di /sdcard direname lagi menjadi nama laen agar pas dari bootloader tidak diload. HP matikan lalu nyalakan teken volume down. Geser pake tombol volume, sorot ke recovery. Tekan tombol power.

Seharusnya bisa masuk clockworkmod recovery, jika bisa silahkan pasang rom.

Flashing Ulang HTC include Clockworkmod Recovery

Syarat: S-OFF

Rata-rata orang berfikir bahwa harus lakuin rooting dulu baru recovery, setelah recovery baru deh bisa pasang ROM (custom rom rata2 dah rooted). Pernah ada peringatan di xda bahwa JANGAN UPDATE OFFICIAL OTA TERBARU ATAU RUU TERBARU, dengan alasan pasti bakal sulit diroot lagi donk untuk pasang2 ROM.

OK lanjut deh, untuk HTC biasanya disediakan recovery image dari subtritnya. Utk wildfire saya dapat disini: http://download737.mediafire.com/1kx7w116yvfg/l424p3qcbubrwrt/recovery-clockwork-2.5.0.1-buzz.img

Untuk Desire Z (milikku sendiri),dapat di http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=581383&d=1304049423

Clockwork Image didapat dari sini: http://www.koushikdutta.com/2010/02/clockwork-recovery-image.html Donlod lah sesuai dengan device-nya.

Rename saja file tsb menjadi recovery.img . Nah lanjut lagi dengan membuka isi file pc10img.zip, di dalamnya pasti terdapat file recovery.img juga. File yg ada di dalam di-replace dengan file recovery.img yg merupakan clockworkmod recovery image. File zip bisa extract dulu lalu zip ulang, begitu file zip dibuka lagi pastikan susunan filenya sama seperti sebelum diextract, yg berbeda hanya ukuran file "recovery.img" saja.

Lanjutan dari tutor yg ada di blog sebelumnya, letakkan file PC10IMG.zip di /sdcard (root of sdcard). File tsb akan dibaca dari bootloader. Beberapa HTC ada yg nama filenya bukan PC10IMG.zip tetapi dengan nama yg lain. Khusus G2 dengan DZ, hati2 jika bermain2 dengan perintah dd if=/..... yg ada nama file boot-nya (boot dgn extensi .nb0 atau hbootXXXX.img) utk ngereplace hboot karena akan menyebabkan gagal flashing ulang. Jika berhasil flashing ulang maka akan ada dialog untuk update, teken vol down untuk no, teken vol up untuk Yes. Setelah complete maka coba reboot, begitu sampai homescreen bisa mengetikkan perintah "adb reboot recovery" (catatan: adb sudah terinstall, usb debugging dicentang di hh-nya) atau masuk mode bootloader dengan cara hh dinyalakan sambil tekan volum down. Geser pakai tombol volume, sorot ke recovery lalu teken power. Eng..ing...eng....akhirnya masuk juga ke clockworkmod recovery.

Siapa bilang jika sudah terlanjur update OTA yg kata orang nanti tidak bisa diroot kembali dan tidak bisa pasang ROM, saya sudah buktikan di Desire Z saya berhasil padahal sebelumnya sempat hajar dengan RUU gingerbread resmi eropa. Ada yg pernah bilang ke saya sebaiknya didowngrade saja tetapi malah saya tidak downgrade kok bisa pasang/restore ROM. Selamat mencoba!

Tutorial Flash Ulang HTC ke Original tanpa mode di homescreen

Tools untuk mengembalikan HTC menjadi kembali original adalah dengan RUU (Rom Update Utility), filenya berupa .exe yg dapat didownload di http://shipped-roms.com/index.php?category=android Buzz adalah nama lain dari Wildfire, Vision adalah nama lain dari Desire Z, Ace adalah nama lain dari Desire HD (DHD).
File download-an berupa extension .exe dan hanya dapat dijalankan ketika HH dalam mode nyala dan di homescreen/ready,tidak bisa ketika HH belum masuk homescreen/ready. Cara lain adalah dengan menaruh file PC10IMG.zip di root of sdcard, jadi bootingnya lewat sdcard mencari keberadaan file tsb, asalkan HH masih bisa nyala dan masuk ke fastboot bootloader dengan cara teken voldown+power ketika HH dinyalakan.
Nah bagaimanakah menkonversi dari RUU*.exe menjadi bentuk .zip ?
Langkah2-nya adalah pertama jalankan dulu sampai ketemu layar seperti dibawah ini, jangan ditutup dulu dengan klik cancel karena file di temporary akan hilang.

Langsung browse ke folder
C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Temp -> kurang lebih seperti itu di Windows 7, di windows XP kurang lebih sama, mungkin C:\document and settings\\\AppData\Local\Temp
Nah, lalu coba browse ke folder tersebut, order by last modified, pastinya akan terbentuk folder dgn digit format {xxxxxxx-xxxxxx-xxxxxxxx}. MAsuk ke folder tersebut, maka klik subfoldernya. Order by size pasti ada ukuran paling besar bernama rom.zip, copy file tersebut ke folder sembarang dan ganti namanya menjadi PC10IMG.zip
File PC10IMG.zip itu nanti copy saja ke sdcard (tidak ditaro di folder apa2, langsung di root of sdcard atau /sdcard) dengan card reader (HH dalam keadaan belum bisa masuk homescreen,tetapi masih bisa masuk bootloader/recovery/fastboot).
Jika sudah, maka masukan sdcard ke hh. hh dimatikan dan langsung masuk ke mode fastboot lalu akan mencari file PC10IMG.zip, begitu ada sdcarcd checking nanti ada seperti vertical loading bar di pojok kanan atas layar. nah nanti ada menu pilihan, "Do you want to start update"

Parsing...[SD ZIP] ada nomor[1] sampai [10],
Pilih saja Vol Up untuk update,nanti muncul seperti ada vertical loading bar di pojok kanan atas layar
tulisan Update is in progress.....
Do not power off the device!
progress akan jalan dari unzipping, updating sampai OK. Tunggu sampai selesai dan muncul "Update complete..".Tekan power untuk reboot.

Rooting HTC Desire Z

Langkah-langkah rooting HTC Desire Z:
1.            Siapkah prasyarat untuk PC dan Devices
A.Persyaratan apakah yang harus disiapkan di PC?
-          JDK (Java Development Kit) atau JRE (Java Runtime Environment), disarankan versi 1.6+. Jika ada aplikasi lain yang juga include JRE,misalnya Oracle maka harus dihapus di environment variable di bagian Path-nya.
-          HTC USB Drivers: http://dl4.htc.com/RomCode/Source_and_Binaries/USB_driver_20101122_release.zip
-          Android SDK dari http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html
-          MyPhoneExplorer (http://www.fjsoft.at/en/downloads.php) atau qtADB(http://qtadb.wordpress.com/download/ ): untuk explorasi file di handset dari komputer, bisa kopi file handset<->computer.
Agar perintah adb dikenali jika dipanggil dimana saja, jangan lupa set environment variable dengan cara ke my computer – properties – change settings – advanced – klik button Environment Variables.
Misalkan hasil extract diletakkan di
C:\Aplikasi\android-sdk_r08-windows\android-sdk-windows
Maka tambahkan di environment variables pada System Variables, cari bagian PATH:
C:\Aplikasi\android-sdk_r08-windows\android-sdk-windows\platform-tools;  C:\Aplikasi\android-sdk_r08-windows\android-sdk-windows\tools
Nah, lalu buka command prompt ketik adb harusnya bisa, bukan keluar error “'adb' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.”. Jika sedang buka command prompt, harap tutup lalu buka kembali.
Untuk JAVA-nya sendiri minimal JRE 1.6, jika ada program lain yang memiliki JRE sendiri sebaiknya hapus saja dari environment variable (kalau ada) seperti Oracle contohnya begitu install akan create environment variables sendiri termasuk JRE-nya itu sendiri.
B.Persyaratan di handset:
-          Settings – Applications – Unknown  Sources dicentang
-          Settings – Application –Development-USB Debugging dicentang
-          Astro File Manager
-          Android Terminal Emulator (tersedia di market): untuk melakukan perintah-perintah linux
-          Versi firmware adalah: 1.34.707.3, cek di Settings-About Phone-Software information-Software Number (lihat versi berapa). Jika lebih dari tinggi dari itu maka tidak bisa melakukan rooting dengan cara dibawah ini. Jika perlu harus downgrade firmware, dengan install RUU ini: http://www.shipped-roms.com/shipped/Vision/RUU_Vision_hTC_Asia_WWE_1.34.707.3_Radio_12.28b.60.140e_26.03.02.18_M3.exe (ini yang Asia punya). Setelah install sudah pasti akan unroot, kemudian akan bisa diroot lagi dengan cara-cara berikut ini.

Cek apakah device sudah detect atau belum:

Ini artinya sudah detect
2.  Lakukan Temporary Root
Ada dua cara dalam melakukan temporary root, yaitu menggunakan Visionary dan Rage.
A.Cara Visionary
Download Visionary+ dari http://dl.dropbox.com/u/19932791/com.modaco.visionaryplus.r14.apk
Install ke handset dengan cara copy file tersebut ke sdcard di suatu folder tertentu, lalu jalankan dari file manager untuk menginstall aplikasi tersebut. Atau cara lain bisa juga dari adb tools dengan ketik perintah:”adb tools com.modaco.visionaryplus.r14.apk” <enter>”.

Jalankan visionary, centang “Set system r/w after root” dicentang, yang lainnya biarkan saja tidak tercentang. Tap “Temproot now”, biarkan proses berlangsung. Setelah selesai, coba masuk ke Terminal Emulator dari handset. Awalan di depan itu $ artinya user biasa.
$ su <enter>
Jika muncul # maka artinya sudah root, jika ada error “permission denied” berarti belum berhasil.
B.Cara rage
Download file berikut ini dari: http://android.d3xt3r01.tk/cyanogen/common/gfree_temp-root.zip
Extract ke sembarang folder, misalnya: c:\android\gfree_temp-root, seharusnya terdapat file-file:
-          busybox
-          rage
-          root
-          su
-          Superuser.apk
Untuk menjalankan tsb, lebih cepat dengan notepad copy paste text berikut:

adb push su /sdcard/su
adb push Superuser.apk /sdcard/Superuser.apk
adb push rage /data/local/tmp/rage
adb push busybox /data/local/tmp/busybox
adb push root /data/local/tmp/root
adb shell chmod 0755 /data/local/tmp/*
pause
save dengan nama temproot.bat di folder yang sama dengan file-file tersebut berada. Kemudian jalankan file .bat tsb
Kemudian pada Terminal Emulator di handset jalankan:
/data/local/tmp/rage <enter>
Tunggu saja sampai keluar “Forked #### childs.”, setelah itu pilih menu-reset term untuk keluar dari terminal emulator. Buka lagi Terminal Emulator beberapa saat lagi, maka seharusnya akan mendapat root shell (diawali dengan #). Itu berarti sudah rooted secara temporary,
3. Lakukan Permanent Root
Download file dari sini: http://www.addictivetips.com/?attachment_id=42111
Extract ke sembarang folder, misalnya c:\android\root_files, lalu copy hasil extractnya ke sdcard (bisa via MyPhoneExplorer atau QtADB), misalnya ke /sdcard/root_files.
Buka terminal emulator lalu jalankan ini:

$ su
# cp /sdcard/root_files/perm_root   /data/local/perm_root
# chmod 777 /data/local*
# /data/local/perm_root

Sampai muncul prompt # kembali, maka proses rooting permanent telah selesai. Coba restart handset, kemudian masuk kembali ke terminal emulator dengan mengetikkan kata “su” lalu enter, seharusnya sudah bisa.
4. Install ClockworkMod Recovery
Dari Android Market, install “ROM Manager”. Kemudian dari bagian Recovery, tap “Flash ClockworkMod Recovery” (versi terbaru 3.0.0.5 kalau tidak salah) saat koneksi internet sedang hidup maka akan mendownload file untuk diinstall, nah lalu akan muncul Dialog “Confirm Phone Model”, pilih HTC G2.

Maka recovery telah terinstall, coba boot into recovery. Seharusnya akan muncul menu recovery, dimana siap untuk install custom rom, backup/restore ROM, dsb.
